Changing your personal settings

Open articles in a new browser window

To open articles in a new browser window while staying on the Google News homepage, just follow these steps:

  1. Visit your Google News Settings page by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of the Google News homepage. Under your list of preferred sources, click Settings.
  2. Under "News Homepage" select Open articles in a new browser window.
  3. Click on the button labeled Save changes to save your latest preferences.
