You can hide your current location from all friends or from individual friends at any time. When you hide your location, your friends won't see your Latitude photo icon on their map and won't see a location for you in their of Latitude friends list.
Hide your location for all friends on Google Maps for Android 6.9.2 or later
- From Latitude, touch Menu > Settings to open the Latitude privacy menu.
- Uncheck Enable location sharing.
Hide your location for all friends on Google Maps for Android 6.9 or earlier
- From Latitude, touch Menu > Settings to open the Latitude privacy menu.
- Select Hide your location.
Hide your location from specific friends
- Select a friend from the map or list view to see more information and options.
- Select Hide from this friend.
