Searching sky

You can search for heavenly objects. To do this, in the Search panel, click one of the following tabs:

  • Search the Sky - Use this to search heavenly objects by name (examples: Orion, NCG 2437).
  • Location search - Use this to search by right ascension or declination. Example:

    5:34:32.01, 32:00:45.96

After you enter your search terms, click the Search button Search button. Results appear in the Search panel. Double click any result to navigate to that location.
