(Bing Ads only) Select when setting the budget amount. When you enter a budget amount, you do not need to specify a currency or type a currency symbol. Bing Ads uses your billing country or region to determine the default currency.
- Daily budget. You can set the maximum amount that you want to spend each day. This option works well if you plan to adjust your budget frequently to take advantage of changing market conditions, such as a holiday season or special promotion. If you select Daily for your campaign budget option, and you do not change the amount later in the month, Bing Ads automatically calculates your maximum monthly budget as your daily budget amount multiplied by 30.4 days. If you make a change to your daily budget during the month, then for the current month your monthly limit is calculated as your spend so far that month, plus the daily budget amount multiplied by the number of days remaining in the month. Your daily budget setting is a target only, and your actual spend might be higher or lower.
- Monthly budget. If you don't anticipate changing your budget often, you can select the monthly budget option. With this option, your budget will be spent until it is depleted. So it is possible that your budget will be spent before the end of the month, and your ads won't display throughout the entire month. If your campaign's monthly budget used the “Monthly budget divided daily across month” setting, it has been converted to a daily budget.
