An engine account can have a status of Active or Deleted in DoubleClick Search:
- You may want to delete an engine account when you no longer manage it. Deleting a DoubleClick Search engine account means that we no longer perform trafficking and sync on that account. DoubleClick Search will stop reporting on engine data, and the account will be removed from the default view. You can select the Show Deleted check box to display deleted accounts in DoubleClick Search.
- If you resume a deleted account, it will reappear in the default view as Active. DoubleClick Search reports will not show engine data for the period when it was deleted.
Follow these steps to delete or resume an engine account:
If you have access to multiple agencies, select one.
The list of advertisers for the agency appears.
Select the advertiser from the list.
The Campaigns page for that advertiser appears.
Near the bottom of the left nav, click the Advertiser settings tab.
The advertiser's settings appear, along with a list of its engine accounts.
In the engine accounts table, select the check box next to an engine account.
You can select multiple engine accounts and edit their statuses at once.
Click Edit engine accounts in the toolbar above the engine accounts table. Depending the engine account's current status, you can select Delete or Resume from the dropdown.
