Save, download, or schedule a report

Schedule a report

When you download a DoubleClick Search report, you have the option of setting up a schedule to deliver reports on a regular basis. With any of the following delivery options, you can select the time of day (and time zone) when you want to receive the report:

  • Daily
  • Weekly: Specify the day or days of the week you want the report delivered.
  • Monthly: Specify the day or days of the month you want the report delivered.

After you schedule a report, it will appear in the list of scheduled reports. You can access this list by clicking the Scheduled reports button in the left nav.

Follow these steps to schedule a report:

  1. Navigate to the desired report in the DS UI.
Make sure the table contains the relative date range, columns, and segments you'd like to include in your report. Segments that you've applied to the data in the table appear in your report as columns. Learn how to customize the data in your tables and reports.

  2. Click Download in the toolbar above the table to open the download panel.

  3. Click the Schedule report tab.

  4. Name the report.
The name will appear in the subject line of the email.

  5. In the Schedule dropdown, select how often you want the report to be sent.

  6. Select the time of day (and time zone) when you want to receive the report.
The selected time zone only affects the definition of the base date (for example, ‘today’) for the report. It won’t affect the time zone that determines the date where the stats are attributed.
For example, if a report is scheduled to be generated at January 31, 7 P.M. GMT, while in the GMT time zone, 'today' will be January 31. However, if the same scheduled report is generated while in the PST time zone, 'today' will be January 30 (as it's actually January 30 in PST).

  7. Enter the remaining properties and click Schedule.

DS will automatically delete scheduled reports that fail for more than 30 days.
