To begin presenting, click the Present button in the top-right corner of the screen.
Your presentation will open full-screen, starting from the slide you were just viewing. If you'd like to start your presentation from the beginning, click the drop-down arrow next to the "Present" button and select Present from beginning. Or, if you'd like to view the presentation in a new browser window instead of full-screen, click the drop-down arrow next to the "Present" button and select Present in new window.
To skip from one slide to the next, use the arrow keys on your keyboard or click the arrow icon in the gray bar at the bottom of your presentation. To close the presentation viewer, press the Esc key.
In Google Slides, you can access additional presentations options in the the toolbar at the bottom of the presentation window. Here, you can select slides to present from a list, open speaker notes, print the presentation, or download it in PDF or PPTX format.
Automatically cycle through slides
You can automatically cycle through slides in presentation mode. Click the Present button at the top right of your presentation. Then, click the triangular Play button.
If you embed a presentation in a website using Google Slides, you can enable time delay, autostart, and loop. Here's how:
- Click the Share button, and select Publish / embed to publish and embed the presentation.
- In the Presentation player section, select the amount of time you'd like your slides to remain on screen before advancing. To view your options, click the Automatically advance presentation to the next slide drop-down menu.
- Select whether or not you want to start the slideshow as soon as the player loads.
- Select if you'd like to restart the slideshow after the last slide.
