How syncing works

Google Cloud Connect lets you sync your Office documents so that you can easily share and edit your Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents simultaneously with other people.

If anyone makes changes to your document while you’re offline, you can sync those changes once you come back online. As different people continue editing the document, each sync operation will create a new version of the document on Google Docs.
