When you install Google Drive for desktop, a Google Drive folder is created on your computer’s hard drive in a location that you can choose. The latest versions of files and folders put in this folder will be synced to My Drive (in your online Google Drive) and on other devices where you’ve installed Google Drive.
Google Drive for desktop is currently an invitation-only service. When you receive an invitation, install Google Drive for your Mac/PC on your computer.
