Set an overall daily impression cap

The overall daily impression cap can be set for price priority-type line items only.

Goal: Set a cap on the number of overall impressions a network can deliver.

Example:  Set Network #1 to deliver a maximum of 100,000 impressions/day and set Network #2 to deliver a max of 150,000 impressions/day.

Description: Often, networks can only effectively monetise a sub-set of the overall number of remnant impressions that publishers have available. Rather than setting impression goals for a network, publishers frequently prefer to set a daily cap on the number of impressions delivered from their networks. For example, if Network No .1 can only monetise 100,000 impressions from your site per day or if there are significantly diminishing returns after serving 100,000 impressions, you might want to cap Network No .1 to 100,000 impressions/day.

To achieve line items with a daily cap instead of an overall campaign goal, create them under a network order. Unlike standard orders, network orders spawn line items that have the capability of daily impression caps and are defaulted to Remnant priority.

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Create new network orders for Network No. 1 and Network No. 2.
  2. Under each, create a new line item.
  3. In the line item settings for each, set the appropriate daily impression caps.
