When using CS First in remote learning environments, consider the following strategies.
Downloading Videos
All curriculum videos can be downloaded to your device for offline viewing. In a low bandwidth environment, you and/or your students can download the videos prior to class.
On most browsers, to download videos:
-
Visit the Curriculum page.
-
Select the lesson.
-
Click on the video you need to access.
-
Once the video loads, click on the three vertical dots on the bottom right hand side of the video screen.
-
Click Download. The video will download to your local device.
Transcripts
Transcripts are available for each CS First video. In a low bandwidth environment where you are unable to download or view videos, you can copy the CS First video transcript into a document. The transcript can be shared digitally or printed and shared with students for easy-to-follow written instructions on each lesson.
To access the transcript for a student video
-
Visit the Curriculum page.
-
Select the lesson.
-
Click on the video you need to access.
-
Click the arrow next to Transcript directly below the video player on the left side.
