Real-time bidder

Real-time bidder defined

Real-time bidder is a server-to-server integration option for network buyers that allows networks to evaluate and bid on each available impression. It's available to any Ad Exchange buyer that has its own ad server or bid engine. No additional contract is required, but terms of use are referred to in the Ad Exchange buyer contract. If you are interested in requesting real-time bidder, please contact us.

Real-time bidder is an optional feature that requires an integration effort by the buyer to use.

Using real-time bidder, your network can review pre-filtered inventory to establish and execute bids. Here's what happens:

  1. You use the real-time bidder interface to create a campaign with the desired pre-filtering criteria.
  2. Ad Exchange passes the ad call parameters to your ad serving system.
  3. Your system analyzes the ad call in real-time, applies any additional targeting criteria, and decides whether or not to bid, and if so, how much.
