Google Ads Editor considers anything in the form {A.B.C:text} or {A.B.C} to be a dynamic insertion or ValueTrack tag, where A.B.C and text are the following:
A.B.Cis one or more identifiers separated by periods. Identifiers can be sequences of ASCII letters, digits, and underscores beginning with a letter.textis a sequence of characters, called the tag's "parameter" or "default value."

Ad headlines, description lines, and display URLs can include the following kinds of dynamic insertion tags.
