About automated rules

A feature you can set up to automatically make changes to your ad status, budgets, and bids, so you don't need to spend time manually monitoring your campaigns.

  • Here are some examples of what you can set a rule to do automatically:
    • Change your budget on certain days of the week
    • Turn on and off certain ads for a special promotion
    • Pausing keywords that aren't performing well
  • You can choose the requirements for your rule, including what types of changes it can make, how often it will run, and at what time of day.
  • It's important to select minimum and maximum limits for your bids and budgets so that you don't accidentally spend more than you want or decrease your traffic.
