You can set a custom font as the account default, to show in all content ad units. You can also choose custom settings on individual ad units.

Available font faces to choose from

You can select from the font faces Arial, Times, and Verdana. Through our testing, we found that these fonts performed best across publisher sites.

We're also continuing to experiment with additional font faces, and will be sure to announce any new options once they become available.

Select a custom font for your ads

There are two ways to set custom fonts: across your entire account for all AdSense for content units or for individual ad units.

To set a custom font as the default for all your AdSense for content units :

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Visit your Account settings page.
3. In the Default ad display preference section, click edit.
4. From the drop-down menus, choose your preferred font face and font size.
5. Save your changes.

The font settings will be reflected soon in all your AdSense for content ad units that are set to use your default font preferences.

To set custom fonts for individual ad units:

If you're creating or updating an individual ad unit, you can choose a custom font while generating your ad code.

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Visit your My ads tab.
3. Choose your custom font:
   For new ad units:
   • Click "New ad unit".
   • In the ad style section for this ad unit, choose your font family and font size preferences from the drop-downs.
   • Customize your ad unit and add the code to your pages.
   For existing ad units:
   
   • Find and select the name of your ad unit in the list.
   • Next to the example ad, click "edit style."
   • Choose your font family and font size preferences from the drop-downs.
   • Save your changes. Your font changes will be reflected within about 10 minutes.

Please note that if you customize the font settings of an individual ad unit, changes that you make to your account-wide default font settings will not be applied to that ad unit.
