All users in your domain can find and share sites, but as a Google Apps account administrator, you can adjust the sharing options to restrict access.
To change sharing options in sites:
- Sign in to the Google Admin console.
- Do one of the following:
- In the classic Admin console, click Settings > Sites > General.
- In the new Admin console, click Google Apps > Sites > Access Settings.

- In the Sharing options section of the page, select from the following options:
- Users cannot share sites outside <domain name>
Only domain users can view the sites you and your users create. - Users can share outside <domain name>, but will receive a warning each time
Users in your domain can invite outside individuals to view sites they create, but are reminded that they're sharing outside the domain each time they do so. - Users can share sites outside <domain name> (without any warning)
People in your organization can invite others to view sites they create on an individual basis. - Users can make Sites public
Users can publish sites that anyone on the internet can find. Sites become accessible without logging in, and may be indexed by search engines.
- Users cannot share sites outside <domain name>
- Click Save changes.
Note that users can set access options for sites that they create, but they won't be able to share a site more widely than the option you select here.
