This set of articles explains how to make a web page available at many URLs. This is called URL forwarding and can be used to establish custom addresses for Google Apps services and individual Google Sites. If these instructions do not work for your domain host account, please contact your domain host directly for DNS configuration instructions.
The following articles describe three distinct types of URL forwards available in Google Apps, each with its own purpose:
- Custom web addresses for Google Apps Services - Special internal-only shortcuts to core services, such as Gmail, Drive, and Calendar.
- URL Forwarding for Google Sites - External shortcuts that map your domains to specific Google Sites.
- Naked Domain URL Forwarding - External shortcuts that ensure visitors to your naked (root) domain end up at your World Wide Web location.
