To manage a resource for your organization, you need to first add the resource to your My calendars list.

If the resource you want doesn't exist yet, create the resource before continuing.

To add a resource to your My calendars list:

  1. As an administrator, access your calendar.

  2. Click the down arrow by Other calendars and then select Browse Interesting Calendars.

  3. Click the More tab.

  4. Click Resources for <your domain>.

  5. Find the resource you want to add and click Subscribe.

Because you're an administrator, the resource will now appear on your My calendars list. If users follow these steps, the resource appears in their Other calendars list, where they can view the resource but not edit or manage it.

Once you've added the resource to your My Calendars list, you can use the drop-down menu by the resource to share the resource, get notifications about the resource, or modify the resource's settings.

Alternative method: add the resource using its email address
  1. Sign in to the Google Admin console

  2. Do one of the following:

  3. Click Resources.

  4. Click the resource that you want to manage.

  5. Copy the email address for the resource. Example: solarmora.com_3434343338383739393439@resource.calendar.google.com.

  6. Keeping the copied email address, sign in to your calendar account at http://calendar.google.com/a/primary-domain-name.

  7. At the bottom of the calendar list on the left, click the Add down-arrow button and select Add a coworker's calendar.

Do not click the Add link under My Calendars. This will create a new group calendar. Instead you need to add the previously-created resource as if you were adding a coworker's calendar.
  8. Enter the email address for your resource in the field provided, and then click Add.

  9. Because you're an administrator, the resource will now appear on your My Calendars list.
