Work with domain hosts

Use services not provided by Google

This article addresses customers who purchased a domain name through GoDaddy.com or eNom.com while signing up for Google Apps.

If you purchased your domain name from one of our registration partners while signing up for Google Apps, your domain will be automatically configured to work with Google's services. If you'd like to use your domain with services not provided by Google, you can configure your domain to do so by changing your DNS settings accordingly. You can access your advanced DNS settings through your Google Admin console.

Please note that Google does not provide support for 3rd party services. If you have a website hosted with a 3rd party service, your web hosting service can give you the appropriate DNS information. You can update this information in the advanced DNS section of your Google Admin console.

You can also transfer your domain to a different domain host.
