The name of your organization appears on the dashboard of the Google Admin console. Users see the organization name when choosing people to share Google Drive files or Sites with: they have the option to set sharing permissions for People at <your organization name>.
By default, your organization name is the domain name of your primary domain. The primary domain name might not be an appropriate name for your organization, especially if you associate multiple domains with your Google Apps account.
To change your organization name:
Sign in to the Google Admin console.
Do one of the following:
- In the classic Admin console, click Domain Settings.
- In the new Admin console, click Company profile.
Where is it? Which Admin console do I have?
- Update the name in the Organization name field, which is at the top of the General tab.
- Click Save changes.
