When you make a credit card payment, we first authorize your card for the amount of the charge. This means that our system checks with your credit card provider to ensure that your card has enough credit available to cover the charge. Once this is done, your balance will update and your service will typically start again if it had stopped. It may take up to 24 hours before a payment processes fully.
