Calendar Labs

Calendar Labs allow users to try new or experimental Google Calendar features. By enabling Labs, users can select or remove available tools in their own calendar. Calendar Labs do not affect the content or functionality of the basic calendar, nor do they alter any settings applied by the administrator. See Lab features to see what Labs are currently available.

The Calendar Labs feature is enabled when you sign up for Google Apps.

To disable (or re-enable) Calendar Labs:

  1. Sign in to the Google Admin console.
  2. Do one of the following:

  3. In the Org Settings tab, select the organization for which you want to set calendar labs options.

Select the top-level organization to enforce the same settings for your entire organization. You can also specify different settings for each organizational unit. If you have a lot of organizations, click the + button to expand your options.

Settings marked locally applied do not inherit their value from a parent organizational unit. (Settings at the top-level organization are always locally applied.) Inherited means that the values are taken from the parent.
  4. Scroll to the Calendar Labs section and uncheck Enable Labs for my users.

  5. Click Save changes.

It may take up to 24 hours before changes take effect.
